At Bobo Shows, we take responsibility for our social and environmental footprint. Creating environmentally friendly products and producing our products always has an impact, but we do our best to minimize that impact. , we aim to continuously improve the sustainability of our production processes.
Now that protecting the environment is no longer an option, but a key to the future, it has become our duty to share this commitment with our kids. At Bobo Shows, we believe that kids have the power to understand, act and change more than adults ever could. Protecting the environment is a responsibility, but you can do it while having fun. This is how we do it.
FIBERS & MATERIALS
We are constantly striving to replace traditional materials with more sustainable ones to reduce the impact on nature and human health.
Sustainable cotton, including organic and Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), makes up more than half of our latest collection, and we've also introduced BCI as a new sustainable source.
The use of recycled fibres is also on the rise: in the latest collection, 20% of the denim fabric is GRS-certified recycled cotton, most of the outerwear is made from bespoke recycled materials, and the knitwear collection is blended with soft wool.
We continue to use technical fabrics made from recycled polyamide and recycled polyester in our outerwear.
Our aluminum bottles are BPA free and we still offer our ceramic mugs.
The sole of the sneakers is made from 100% natural rubber compound.
Many accessories are made from recycled polyester.

SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY
We value working with local suppliers and manufacturers and only work with trusted, certified partners who share our vision and commitment.
Our garments are mainly produced locally in Spain and Portugal, many of them within 10km of our headquarters. We work with and support local suppliers and manufacturers, We value learning from know-how.
All suppliers are required to follow a code of conduct that ensures we share a mutual responsibility for labor fairness and a safe work environment, and we regularly visit our suppliers to ensure they meet Bobo Choses' ethical standards.

In terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we usually collaborate with the Red Cross and other social organizations to help families and children in need. We also like to be actively involved in summer camps, foundations and other social projects.

HEALTHY GARMENTS
Our garments are free of harmful chemicals to ensure the health and safety of workers and customers, safeguard animal welfare and prevent biodiversity loss.
Bobo Shoes is aware of the environmental and health issues caused by harmful chemicals used in the textile industry.
• That’s why the production and finishing factories we work with are OEKO-TEX certified, ensuring that our fibres and fabrics are free of harmful chemicals.
• We analyze our garments at AITEX, Europe's leading research centre, to prove that they are health-conscious products.
• The cotton yarn we use is organic and GOTS certified, which means that not only is the cotton grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides or other chemical fertilisers, but the sustainable production system helps to restore and maintain soil health.
• Our products are Chromium and Nickel Free.

REUSE, RECYCLE,
REDUCE
We believe in circular fashion and strive to ensure that all resources are used in the wisest and most efficient way.
By working with organizations like ANTHESIS, we have developed action plans for carbon, water and waste reduction. We also make precise forecasts when purchasing fabrics to avoid overstocking. All offcuts generated during the production phase are recycled by the local Foundation CEO El Maresme and kept to create new fabrics. In the last few years:

Research, development and innovation have allowed us to create a permanent collection made from recycled, upcycled and natural materials, featuring some of the most iconic and beloved prints and patterns in the brand's history, a delight for Bobo Choses fans.
Our eco-friendly shipping bags are made from durable kraft paper that is 100% recyclable and biodegradable and is PEFC certified. The double closure system makes returns more sustainable and hassle-free, and their smaller size compared to traditional packaging options reduces your environmental footprint. Fewer shipments mean less cost, less fuel consumption, no sealing or stuffing, and no waste.

BE PART OF
THE CHANGE
We always design and create our clothes with durability and tradition in mind, and there are some things you can do to help extend their lifespan.
• Carefully follow the instructions for each garment and take good care of it.
• Give away your clothes to friends and family, donate them to NGOs and foundations, or resell or trade them on the second-hand market.
• If everyone bought quality products that were produced with fair fibres, under decent working conditions, environmentally friendly and locally made, they wouldn't have to replace their clothes as often.
